Japan

I would like to say Japan has always interested me, but truthfully only a few years ago all I really knew where the common ignorant myths most believe. The whole reason I even traveled to Japan in the first place was actually quite random. I priced out the difference of traveling to Newfoundland to visit my relatives and flying to Japan to prove how stupidly expensive it is to fly domestically. When I saw how much more economical it was to fly to Japan, I bought a ticket and rail pass the next week and the rest is history.

Japan has become an important part of my life in more then one way. Living there, though much shorter then originally intended (Thanks Nova) was the most eye opening experience of my life so far. Even though I have yielded my Gaijin title and returned home, Japan still and probably will forever hold a very important place in my heart.

I plan to make some changes in the near future to the photo albums adding substantially more photos, with small blurbs on where and what they are about.

Kyoto - 落ち着いた品のある町

Kyoto is a city with a history measure in hundreds and hundreds of years. There are some very cool temples and shrines here, though some can only be found way off the beaten path

Hokubo - Rural Okayama

I had the honor of getting to travel to the very rural north of Okayama Japan and spend the afternoon in an ancient Japanese home. Photographs simply cannot do this area justice.
