Nose Hill is considered the largest inner-city park in all of North America. From about end of Spring until Winter its really just an ugly brown lump of dead grass in the city.
During a brief period in Spring and most of the Winter it is quite an attractive place to go for a walk.
Priddis is just a short drive south of Calgary. Its a popular spot for hunters during the winter seasons, but it also makes for some nice landscape shots of the Rocky Mountains from its foothills.
