Beer

www.homebrewtalk.com – I am constantly referencing this forum and wiki for recipes and advices on all my home brewing adventures. The people on the boards are quite helpful and very educated in all manners of brewing

http://beeradvocate.com – Whenever I am struggling to define an aroma or flavour in a beer, I will check here to see what other people have said. It is also an excellent reference for information on the beer such as its origin and ABV.

http://www.says-it.com – A very handy tool for making custom beer labels.

Fitness

www.crossfit.com – Thanks to Crossfit I am stronger, faster and more agile then I have ever been. I constantly reference this website for routines and exercise demos. I will also compare my own scores and times with what other Crossfitter’s have accomplished.

www.nutritiondata.com – I am mildly obsessed with counting calories and I use this as my ‘source of truth’ when trying to figure out how many calories are in the foods I eat.

Japanese

www.jisho.org – I don’t know a lot of words in Japanese. This is possibly the best reference for Japanese vocabulary on the net.

www.nhk.or.jp/r-news – Immersion, immersion, immersion. I try to listen to around an hour of Japanese news radio a day in the background, though to be honest I rarely understand any of it. Still keeping myself immersed in it has helped me with my listening skills.

http://www.timwerx.net/home/index.htm – This is an incredible resource for Japanese, especially when it comes to verbs. This website gives explanations and excellent examples.

http://runing.exblog.jp – This is a good friend from Japan (舅もです) website. We are always helping each other with learning our respective languages.
