CrossFit – Kicking your ass in 20 minutes or less


Yesterday I stopped into my gym to blast through another simple, yet completely devastating CrossFit routine.

Warm up: 3 sets of 10, Burpee Pullups.

WOD: For 20 Minutes – Complete as many sets as possible of the following circuit

28 Pushups, 21 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls (w/ Kettlebell), 15 Pullups >> I managed 3 rounds before I lowered it too:

21 Pushups, 14 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls and 7 Pullups >>> I believe I got around 10 rounds finished.

Absolutely punishing. I don’t think I have been that exhausted from a workout since… Maybe the last time I did another Crossfit routine. I am really impressed with how effective these are at pushing your physical limits and even more impressed with the fact that they rarely take over 20 minutes to complete. Though I typically modify the routines slightly to fit my workout style more, they are still just as good at kicking my ass everytime.
