Routine of the Day – Run, 3.75KM

I signed up to participate in the Run for the Cure this year, so I need to start training. My work is sponsoring me to run this and I figured if I am going to do it, I best do it right. I don’t consider 5KM much of a challenge, especially when running for a good cause, so I am going to do it with my 18lbs training vest. I have one month to prepare for this, so I am going to try to get two weighted runs in a week.

Routine of the Day – Run, 3.75KM with 18lbs training vest

Time – 22:21

The additional weight, while challenging only added an additional two minutes to my overall time.

Not as good as my best time with the vest, but not bad considering that I am not used to carrying around an additional 20lbs of bodyweight (体重) when running.

100 Days of Burpee’s Challenge – COMPLETE!

100 Days of Burpee’s Challenge complete!

Time – 7:53 for 100 Burpee’s. From start to finish it took me only 127 days to finish this challenge (that would equate to 27 rest days) and 5050 Burpees rep’d out.  I am not doing a Burpee for many, many weeks.

  • Box Jumps, 20″
  • Power Clean, 65lbs

  • Max Reps Pullups, Dead hang – 10, 7, 6
  • Max Reps Pushups, on Pushup Bar – 30, 25, 22
  • Max Handstand Pushups. 1″ from floor – 8, 6
  • L-Sits – ~30 seconds, ~20 seconds
  • Planche – Level 1 – ~30 seconds, Level 2 – ~8 seconds
