Beer Review – Zywiec

Name: Zywiec

Origin: Poland

Style: Pilsner (5.0%)

Appearance: A dark, gold-0range coloured lager, it had a medium head with no life span at all.

Taste: The aroma is of hay, grass and malted grain. It has a very malty flavour, mainly that of grains. It finishes with an earthy, pine-like bitter aftertaste. Some notes of bitter citrus are also detected in its finish. The aftertaste lingers for a good amount of time after finishing each sip.

Mouth Feel: This pilsner has a rough mouth feel, but is not particularly filling. Medium bodied.

Final Thoughts (2.5 out of 5): Its your standard eastern Europe lager.
