Beer Review – Wolters Pilsner

Name: Wolters Pilsner Premium

Origin: Germany

Style:  German Lager (5.0%)

Appearance:  Clear golden colour with a minimal head and no retention whatsoever.

Taste: The aroma is quite grassy and the flavours are quite similar. It begins grassy, becoming slightly sweet, with notes of honey and herbal flavours. It finishes bitter and grapefruit-like.

Mouth Feel: A heavily carbonated pilsner, its also quite sharp and filling.

Final Thoughts (2.5 out of 5): A very standard German pilsner.

This is a cliff-side view of the town of Wurzburg, just east of Frankfurt.
