Name: Wild Rose IPA
Origin: Calgary, Canada
Style: India Pale Ale
Appearance: It is a clear, orange colour. It pours with a minimal head, that leaves a very small film of soft, creamy foam the entire drink.
Taste: It smells of sweetly of oranges. Initially the beer is very bitter, almost ashy in taste. This quickly blends into much softer, sweeter flavours such as caramel and citrus. Finally the beer finishes bitter and grassy.
Mouth Feel: Despite the overall bitterness of this beer, it still drinks very easily. The mouth feel is soft and creamy, without much carbonation. Its not filling either.
Final Thoughts (3.5 out of 5): The beer drinks well and I enjoyed the changing flavours from bitter to sweet and back to bitter.
