Beer Review – Whitewater Clotworthy Dobbin

Name: Whitewater Clotworthy Dobbin

Origin: Ireland

Style: Porter (5.0%)

Appearance: Brown colour in the glass, turns red when light passes through it, medium head. Not much retention, but it was mildly warm.

Taste: A grassy, bitterness is noted immediately. This beer is heavily malty and bready, light, watery palette overall. There are some subtle bitter cocoa flavours.

Mouth Feel:  Foamy and harsh on the tongue. It is also quite filling to drink.

Final Thoughts (2.0 out of 5): Another less then impressive Irish beer.

I cannot remember which town this was, but it was quite nice!
