Name: Quilmes
Origin: Argentina
Style: Lager (4.9%)
Appearance: A clear golden lager with excellent head retention.
Taste: The aroma is mild at best, mostly grains and hops when detectable. Its flavours are grains, malts and the usual citrus and floral hops I would associate with any lager. Short aftertaste.
Mouth Feel: Easy drinking, light bodied. Its refreshing.
Final Thoughts (2.5 out of 5): I swear by the Great Beer Gods in the Valhalla that this was the exact same beer as St. Georges Beer. That of both of these breweries have nailed down “Generic Lager Beer” so well that they managed to create two beers with the EXACT SAME TASTE.
