Beer Review – Peroni Nastro Azzurro

Name: Peroni Nastro Azzurro

Origin: Italy

Style: Lager (5.1%)

Appearance: This is a pale coloured lager and pours with a large, fizzy head. Its got very good retention.

Taste: It has a very grassy aroma. The initial taste is sweet with strong notes of honey, finishing rather herbal and grassy. The aftertaste is bitter and grassy

Mouth Feel: Fizzy and sharp on the tongue. Its quite carbonated and very filling to.

Final Thoughts (3.0 out of 5): Solid drinking lager, though I think in Italy they serve this warm… But I have never been there so I am just guessing!

It looks so warm but I can tell you that water is FREEZING cold.
