Name: Lowenbrau Trimphinator
Origin: Munich, Germany
Style: Dopplebock (7.6%)
Appearance: A clear, rusty brown color and very bubbly. The head is small, but enduring.
Taste: It smelled of sweet caramels, with strong floral odors and even some hints of breadiness. The beer is sweet and rich tasting. There were notes of dark molasses and a toasted bread, giving it a cake like taste. The beer finishes with a bitter, floral flavours that reminded me a fresh roses.
Mouth Feel: A very soft and creamy ale, easy on the mouth and not to filling.
Final Thoughts (4.5 out of 5): Absolutely fantastic! Out of all the bottled beers I tried in Germany this was hands down my favorite.
