Name: Krusovice Imperial
Origin: Czech Republic
Style: Pilsner (Chezc Pilsner 5%)
Appearance: This pils colour lies somewhere between yellow and orange. Just like its darker brother, Krusovice Cerne it pours with absolutely no head at all and leaves nothing but a trace of foam ringed around the edges of the glass.
Taste: For aroma, Krusovice Imperial is sweet and flowery. The beer itself is grassy and staw-like. The beer has a bitter and hoppy finally, that leaves of slightly metallic, though lingering aftertaste. As the beer warms the flowery aroma begins to become more noticeable in the beers flavours.
Mouth Feel: Not an overly carbonated beer, Krusovice Imperial still has a sharp, almost acidic feeling on the tongue.
Final Thoughts (3 out of 5): I enjoyed this Krusovice beer more then the other, though it is nothing I would jump out of my seat for. I found the beer left a bit of a skunky feeling on the tongue towards the end of the glass.
