Beer Review – Hallerorder

Name:  Hallerorder

Origin: Hasserorder, Germany

Style: Pilsner (German Pil)

Appearance:  It was a pale yellow and very clear. The head was medium and  endured through the entire glass.

Taste: The aroma is mild and difficult to distinguish. The flavours are sweet and hoppy with something of a skunky taste in the background. The ale finishes bitter and ashy.

Mouth Feel:  It foams in the mouth quite a lot, though is still very acidic on the tongue.

Final Thoughts (1.5 out of 5): Though most pils in Germany have nearly the exact same qualities I felt that this one was not to my liking as much.
