Beer Review – Gtuttgarter Hofbrau

Name:  Gttuttgarter Hofbrau

Origin: Stuttgart, Germany

Style:  Pilsner (German Pils)

Appearance:  This beer was a pale gold colour, that poured a very short lived medium head.

Taste:  It smelled of hay or fresh grains. Gtuttgarter starts with a slightly sweet, grassy like taste. There were some floral notes as well.  The final flavours blend into the initial ones, finishing with a bitter-sweet orange taste.

Mouth Feel:   It was not a highly carbonated beer, though still slightly sharp on the tongue.

Final Thoughts (3.5 out of 5):  This pils had a better balance of flavours, not being too bitter, nor too sweet. The flavours changed quickly and blended very well into each other.
