Style: Marzen
Appearance: Clear, light yellow and very fizzy. It poured with no head to speak of.
Taste: Even freshly poured it had very little head to aroma. The taste was very bitter and ashy, with some grassy notes. The bitterness of this beer overwhelmed basically all other flavours.
Mouth Feel: Very sharp, very carbonated. Not a gentle drinking beer.
Final Thoughts (1.5 out of 5): I can honestly say I did not enjoy this ‘marzen’ much at all.
