Beer Review – Evards Flourish

Name: Evards Flourish

Origin: Leicestershire, UK

Style:  English Bitter  (3.5%)

Appearance:  A rusty coloured ale, this beer pours with a nice foamy head which shrinks down to nothingness quickly.

Taste: There is some of the hops noted in the aroma with some toffee-esque qualities as well. This bitter ale is not a heavily flavourful beer, but there is some noted caramel and bread like tastes. The beer finishes grassy and bitter from its hops. The after taste is long and lingering.

Mouth Feel: Thin bodied, yet refreshing. Its easy on the tongue and the aftertaste is not unpleasant.

Final Thoughts (3.5 out of 5): A decent brew, served from the tap of one of the many, many pubs in Ireland.
