Beer Review – Distelhauser Premium Pils

Name:  Distelhauser Premium Pils

Origin: Germany

Style: Pilsner (German Pil)

Appearance:  Pale yellow in appearance and highly carbonated. It had a nice, medium head on pour.

Taste:  It smells sweet and grassy. The taste starts with a short-live sweetness, that has a hint of pine to it. It finishes with a long lasting, strongly citrus-like bitter flavour.

Mouth Feel:   It is a very sharp and carbonated drink and the bitter aftertaste is enduring.

Final Thoughts (3 out of 5):  Despite the unpleasant aftertaste this was one of the better mega-brewed Pils I sampled in Germany.
