Name: Casa Beer
Origin: Morocco
Style: Lager (5%)
Appearance: A pale yellow coloured ale, that pours with a soft, foamy head. It clear and quite carbonated.
Taste: The aroma is grainy, with some notes of grassy hops. The flavours are dry, grainy, with notes of bitter hops. There are some metallic notes, even though it was from a bottle. It finishes quite bitter and ashy.
Mouth Feel: Sharp on the tongue and quite filling. It’s light-bodied, though not overly refreshing as the bitterness of this beer takes away from it.
Final Thoughts (2.5 out of 5): A very standard lager. I am willing to bet this is Morocco’s take on Canadian or Bud, though they still did a better job.
