Beer Review – Binding Export Lager

Name:  Binding Export Lager

Origin: Frankfurt, Germany

Style: Lager (German Lager 5.3%)

Appearance: Unfortunately I did not get a chance to pour this lager into a glass, though I can confirm it was a clear, pale yellow.

Taste:  This beer has something a sweet, if not slightly skunked aroma. It tastes of sweet grasses and is strongly herbal. It finishes bitter and ashy, though this aftertaste did not linger long.

Mouth Feel:   This lager is soft and has little carbonation to it making it very easy to drink.

Final Thoughts (2 out of 5):  This is a very generic lager, reminding me of the other mega-brewery beers on the market back in North America.
